What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for an Entry‑Level Roadway Engineer to support highway and roadway projects from planning through construction. You will work under senior engineers on a mix of design and field tasks to produce construction documents and technical deliverables.

  • Support roadway planning and design for transportation projects
  • Perform roadway design calculations and field investigations
  • Prepare construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Develop technical reports and design documentation
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
  • Assist with quality control and review of design deliverables

Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following minimum requirements. Preferred qualifications are called out separately.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program
  • 0–4 years of relevant civil/transportation engineering experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team
  • Able to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred

  • Prior internship or relevant hands‑on experience in roadway design
  • Experience with MicroStation (preferred)
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred
