What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is looking for an Entry‑Level Roadway Engineer to support highway and roadway projects from planning through construction. You will work under senior engineers on a mix of design and field tasks to produce construction documents and technical deliverables.
- Support roadway planning and design for transportation projects
- Perform roadway design calculations and field investigations
- Prepare construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Develop technical reports and design documentation
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Assist with quality control and review of design deliverables
Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following minimum requirements. Preferred qualifications are called out separately.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program
- 0–4 years of relevant civil/transportation engineering experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team
- Able to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred
- Prior internship or relevant hands‑on experience in roadway design
- Experience with MicroStation (preferred)
- Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred
