The Confidential Client Workforce Data Analyst supports Rhode Island's Rural Health Transformation Program by managing and analyzing workforce data to strengthen rural healthcare initiatives. What You’ll Do
The RHTP Workforce Data Analyst will support workforce planning, program evaluation, and federal reporting for the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). Responsibilities include:
- Collect, clean, and maintain workforce datasets across multiple RHTP initiatives (training, residency, licensure, placement, recruitment/retention, behavioral health).
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate program performance and trends to state leadership and partners.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to measure program outcomes, inform policy decisions, and meet federal grant reporting requirements.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, document data flows, and ensure data quality, governance, and confidentiality.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations and presentation materials for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate with state agencies, health providers, educational institutions, subrecipients, vendors, and community partners to ensure timely and accurate data submissions.
- Support development of performance indicators, data-quality standards, and procedures for ongoing workforce measurement.
- Contribute to program evaluation activities, including sampling, outcome measurement, and preparation of deliverables required for federal monitoring.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Health Informatics, Public Policy, Information Systems, Social Sciences, or a closely related field — or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Proven experience in data collection, management, analysis, reporting, program evaluation, or performance measurement.
- Experience preparing dashboards, reports, and presentation materials for decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and maintain data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present technical findings to non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with government, healthcare, and community stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federally funded grant programs, including federal reporting and performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with Rhode Island state data systems, administrative datasets, or state-level reporting processes.
- Background in healthcare workforce planning, recruitment/retention, education, or public‑health workforce initiatives.
- Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Public Policy, or related field.
- Proven experience with SQL, database management, and data integration processes.
- Proficiency with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience developing performance indicators, program evaluation plans, and data-quality standards.
- Familiarity with demographic, geographic, healthcare utilization, and labor market data sources.

- Pay (as listed by source): $57.00–$59.00 per hour
- This position does not supervise staff.
