What You’ll Do

  • Conduct testing on multi-channel RF modules, characterizing both receive and transmit behavior.
  • Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot rack-mount test stations and automated test scripts (LabVIEW).
  • Execute RF/microwave measurement procedures using spectrum analyzers, real-time spectrum analyzers, VNAs and PNAs.
  • Collect, analyze and document test data; create clear reports and work with design teams to resolve issues.
  • Consult with RF module design and assembly teams to support prototype evaluation and production transfers.

What You’ll Learn

  • Hands-on RF/microwave module characterization techniques and best practices.
  • Use of test equipment: spectrum/analyzers, RSAs, VNAs and PNAs.
  • RF/microwave component and module design considerations.
  • Software and tools commonly used in RF engineering: Python, LabVIEW, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Expedition, AutoCAD, C++, Java and data-analysis tools.
  • Practical data analysis and reporting for engineering decisions.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (DoD Secret). An active clearance may be required at hire.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Coursework or academic background in Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory or Radar Systems.
  • Experience with microwave testing techniques and RF test setups.
  • Experience with GaAs and/or GaN MMIC devices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams.

Location & Role Type

  • Work location: Andover, MA (358 Lowell St — Dukes Building).
  • Role type: Full-time, Onsite. Candidates should expect to work on-site primarily; select interview steps may be required in-person.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range (good-faith estimate): $57,200 — $108,800 USD per year. Final offer will consider role, experience, location and skills.
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, parental leave and other programs (benefits depend on business unit and eligibility).

Security & Eligibility

  • Security requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for this clearance.
  • In some cases an active DoD Secret clearance is required at start; please only apply if you meet the citizenship and clearance eligibility requirements.
