What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Revenue Integrity Data Analyst I to support revenue integrity, charge capture, and CDM (charge description master) activities for assigned service lines. This is an entry-level, full-time role that works under direct supervision and partners with clinical departments, IS&T, and clinical informatics.

Key responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain charge master files and assist with HSCRC and CMS price/RVU changes and inquiries
  • Support CDM discovery sessions: document workflows, summarize findings, and assist with CDM documentation
  • Attend cross-functional meetings and implement standardized charge capture processes under guidance
  • Run and prepare revenue-related and Epic Workbench reports to support operations and audits
  • Monitor daily work queues; research and help resolve held, missing, or erroneous charges
  • Assist with system/process setup, discovery, build, and testing for new services
  • Prepare Epic CDM build changes for assigned service lines under direct supervision
  • Support HSCRC RVU conversions and related taskforce activities as instructed

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Willingness and ability to obtain Epic CDM Proficiency certification within 12 months of hire and maintain ongoing Epic version training requirements
  • Demonstrated analytic ability to prepare and interpret financial and operational reports
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have / developing skills:

  • Familiarity with HSCRC methodology and hospital reimbursement concepts
  • Experience or exposure to Epic Workbench reporting and CDM build concepts

Required Skills & Tools

  • Charge capture and CDM management
  • Epic CDM (certification required post-hire) and Epic Workbench reporting
  • MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of HSCRC, RVU concepts, and CMS inquiries
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration with clinical staff, IS&T, and clinical informatics

Working Conditions

  • This position may require a flexible work schedule including occasional night or weekend support for major implementations or system support efforts.
  • Role requires on-site collaboration with clinical departments and technical teams as needed.
