What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level contract role supporting return-authorizations (RAs), backcharge claims, and dispute resolution for builder accounts. You will help protect revenue by validating claims, executing financial recovery where appropriate, and driving RA close-outs through clear, proactive follow-up.
- Monitor, track, and analyze open Return Authorizations (Open RAs) originating from builder orders.
- Own the RA lifecycle from intake and root-cause analysis through to final RA close-out.
- Audit incoming backcharge claims to isolate and attribute liability (e.g., inbound delays, installation errors, or builder-side issues).
- Execute claims and recovery actions based on validated fault attribution (credit generation, chargebacks, or other recovery methods).
- File and manage disputes or reversal requests for invalid or incorrectly assigned charges; follow through until a reversal/credit is granted.
- Collaborate closely with Returns, Logistics, and Operations teams to prevent bottlenecks and improve return workflows.
- Provide ad-hoc claims and returns support as operational needs require.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s/Bachelor’s preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred
- Internship, coursework, or experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or customer service.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Experience working with shipping documents, inventory records, or returns workflows.
Compensation & Employment Type
- Compensation: $26 / hour.
- Employment type: Contract (you will be employed by a third‑party staffing agency, not by the Confidential Client).
