Position Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a detail-oriented Retail Associate to support merchandise sourcing, purchase order execution, vendor communications, and on-hand inventory analysis. This full-time role participates in the client’s Rookie Program and is scheduled to start in September 2026 and continue through the 2026–2027 season. The position requires flexibility for event-driven schedules, including evenings and weekends. Full-time remote work is not available; candidates should be located in or willing to relocate to the Chicagoland area.
What You’ll Do
- Support merchandise sourcing, style creation, and order creation processes.
- Issue and track purchase orders; follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain on-hand inventory analysis by department, class, subclass and location.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, digital, and venue partners to support retail operations and fan experience initiatives.
- Attend periodic cross‑organizational meetings with venue and retail operations partners.
- Complete other retail operations tasks and projects as assigned.
Who You Are / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, marketing, business, or a related field.
- Prior internships or entry-level retail experience; any exposure to buying/merchandising is a plus.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Adobe suite tools.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20.00 per hour; eligible for overtime pay where applicable.
- Relocation stipend available for candidates moving to the state of Illinois.

Location & Work Authorization
