What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring Residential Support Specialists to provide direct care and day-to-day support to adults living in residential programs. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to help residents build skills, maintain safety, and increase community involvement.

  • Offer guidance during skills-building activities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and support plans
  • Assist with daily living activities (meal prep, money management, appointments, personal care)
  • Engage residents to support symptom stabilization, health, and independent living skills
  • Maintain appropriate staff-to-client ratio and ensure resident safety
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and side-by-side community support

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience supporting people with mental health needs, special education, or human services (entry-level candidates with relevant experience are welcome)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be or become MAP certified
  • Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within five months of hire (training provided)
  • Ability to work day, evening, and overnight shifts as needed

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $20.00 per hour (approximately $45,008/year estimated)
  • $2.00/hour differential for high-intensity programs
  • Paid Time Off: 2 weeks vacation (3 weeks after 1 year), 12 sick days, 11 paid holidays

Schedule & Locations

Full- and part-time opportunities available across the Boston area. Shifts include days, evenings, and overnights. Locations the Confidential Client serves include Chelsea, Winthrop, Revere, East Boston, Boston, Waltham, West Roxbury, Hyde Park, and Saugus. Please indicate location and shift preference when applying.
