Program Overview
This Resident Teacher Interest Form is an entry-level pathway into a teacher-residency model run by a confidential client and their Next Black Educator Workforce (NBEW) initiative. The program pairs hands-on classroom experience with graduate-level coursework, mentorship, and leadership development. Participants typically serve as paraprofessionals or teacher assistants in partner schools while pursuing credentialing and/or a master's degree through a partner university.
What We Offer
Participants in this teacher-residency pathway receive a structured combination of academic and classroom support designed to prepare them to lead classrooms with an equity-focused approach.
- Hands-on classroom experience as teacher assistants or paraprofessionals
- Graduate-level coursework toward a Master’s in Education and/or a teaching credential
