Job Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an Open Rank Research Services Laboratory Professional (Entry – Senior) to join a wet-lab research team in Centennial, CO. This onsite, full-time position contributes to projects investigating molecular and cellular mechanisms in pulmonary vascular remodeling and lung injury responses. The role emphasizes hands-on laboratory work, animal model support, and routine molecular and cellular assays.
Key Responsibilities
- Breed and maintain rodent colonies, perform genotyping and accurate record keeping
- Conduct animal modeling tasks and perform tissue harvests
- Isolate cells and perform cell culture under sterile conditions
- Run flow cytometry experiments and assist with data collection
- Perform molecular techniques (DNA/RNA isolation, RT‑qPCR)
- Carry out antibody/protein-based assays (immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry) and imaging
- Prepare common laboratory solutions and stocks; place routine laboratory orders
- Contribute to lab compliance, safety practices, and documentation
Required Qualifications
Minimum requirements vary by level:
- Entry Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics, or related field
- Intermediate Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- ≥ 1 year professional research experience
- Senior Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- ≥ 2 years professional research experience
Additional requirements (all levels):
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to follow complex research protocols and maintain accurate records
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels and deliver strong customer service in a research setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics, or related field
- ≥ 3 years experience in an experimental or wet laboratory setting
- Prior experience with rodent colony management, flow cytometry, RT‑qPCR, and immunohistochemistry
Compensation & Benefits
- Anticipated pay ranges (level-dependent):
- Entry Level: $47,811 – $64,067 / year
- Intermediate Level: $52,030 – $69,720 / year
- Senior Level: $56,249 – $75,373 / year
