Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a part-time (0.5 FTE) Research Services Laboratory Professional to support molecular biology and animal-model research in renal disease. This onsite role in Centennial, CO contributes to experiments involving DNA/RNA work, protein analysis, cell culture, histology/immunohistochemistry, ELISA, and management of transgenic/knockout mouse colonies.
Key Responsibilities
- DNA and RNA purification
- Genotyping
- Protein analyses
- Cell culture and aseptic technique
- Staining of cells and tissues; immunohistochemistry support
- Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA)
- Managing transgenic and knockout mouse colonies
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain clear experiment documentation
- Communicate results and collaborate with research staff to support project goals
Qualifications
Minimum — Entry Level
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics, or related field
Minimum — Intermediate Level
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics, or related field
- One (1) year of professional-level research experience
- A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
Preferred
- Master’s degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics, or related field
- One (1) or more years of experience in an experimental or wet laboratory
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and safety practices
- Ability to interpret and follow complex research protocols
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
- Outstanding customer service and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Compensation & Benefits
- Part-time (0.5 FTE) position
- Anticipated pay range:
- Entry Level: $23,906 - $26,500 per year
- Intermediate Level: $26,015 - $28,000 per year

Location & Schedule
- Work location: Onsite in Centennial, CO
- Schedule: Part-time (0.5 FTE). This position is expected to perform on-site laboratory duties.
