What You’ll Do

The Research Project Coordinator I supports research operations and communication among administrative staff, faculty, fellows, and external collaborators. This role provides project management and administrative support across clinical and academic research activities to ensure timely progress and high-quality deliverables.

  • Provide support to stakeholders by creating project plans and timelines for research activities
  • Prepare agendas, meeting summaries, and track action items for committees and project teams
  • Compile and curate content for internal and external communications
  • Maintain and promote program activity via social and other communication channels
  • Organize and maintain active IRB protocol lists to monitor study landscapes and enrollment opportunities
  • Prioritize meetings and resolve scheduling conflicts for Research Sponsors and leadership
  • Coordinate seminars, special events, guest speaker itineraries, travel, budgets, and meeting materials
  • Serve as a liaison to senior administration, medical staff, donors, and visiting scientists; manage sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality assurance programs, and safety procedures
  • Prepare reports, presentations, marketing materials, and publication support content
  • Maintain files, cost-tracking spreadsheets, and project documentation
  • Follow up on action items to meet deadlines and milestones
  • Staff Scientific Advisory Board Committees and support publication, grant, and clinical-trial tracking activities
  • Draft and publish content on behalf of leadership while coordinating with marketing and PR teams
  • Arrange national and international travel (itineraries, passports/visas, hotels, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two (2) years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in academic or medical research

Skills & Abilities

  • Experience in project management
  • Strong event planning and coordination skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills for interacting with researchers, staff, administrators, and external partners
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently
  • Ability to multitask across multiple studies and protocols
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong data management skills
  • Proficient with common office software and presentation tools

Physical Requirements

  • Consistent with a normal office work environment
  • Frequent computer use, typing, telephone use, and extended periods of sitting

Compensation & Employment Type

  • Pay range: $51,281.05 - $64,096.04 (annual)
  • Employment type: Full time
