What You’ll Do
This role supports a therapeutic monoclonal antibody development program through hands-on laboratory work, data management, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work under the direction of senior scientific staff to generate organized, traceable technical datasets that support antibody characterization and preclinical development.
- Evaluate therapeutic antibody candidates via binding, functional, stability, and developability studies.
- Run biolayer interferometry (BLI) experiments to measure antibody–antigen interactions, binding kinetics, and affinity.
- Perform ELISA, protein-binding, immunological, competition, and functional assays.
- Assist with SEC‑HPLC and other analytical testing to assess aggregation and monomer profiles.
- Support Fc receptor binding studies and other antibody characterization activities.
- Maintain and passage mammalian cell cultures and project-specific cell lines.
- Prepare and process cells and biologic samples for antibody‑binding and functional assays.
- Prepare media, buffers, proteins, antibodies, and other experimental reagents.
- Record assay deviations, troubleshooting steps, and corrective actions; maintain complete laboratory notebook entries and electronic research records.
- Support development, optimization, and characterization of cell‑based assay systems.
- Assist with mouse studies under approved animal‑use protocols (handling, dosing, sample collection, documentation) as permitted by training and authorization.
- Process, label, track, and organize in vivo samples to ensure traceability and data integrity.
- Support PK/PD sample analysis and integration of in vitro and in vivo results into cohesive study outputs.
- Assist with data summaries, tables, figures, and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain version control and traceability between source data, analyzed results, and technical conclusions.
- Collaborate with internal scientists and external vendors while adhering to SOPs, biosafety, animal‑welfare, confidentiality, and research‑compliance standards.
