What You’ll Do

This entry-level Research Analyst role supports research in a radiology and imaging sciences lab focused on data-centric AI for healthcare. Under the Principal Investigator’s direction you will assist with building and testing prototype AI tools, prepare datasets, run model evaluations, and contribute to research documentation and publications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with development, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and refinement of prototype AI / machine learning tools (including LLM and computer-vision workflows) under PI guidance.
  • Prepare and manage clinical, simulated, and synthetic datasets for model evaluation.
  • Perform data cleaning, validation, preprocessing, and basic analyses; produce summaries, charts, and reports.
  • Maintain documentation of development activities, testing procedures, and technical findings.
  • Help draft and edit research materials: figures, manuscripts, abstracts, technical reports, and presentation slides.
  • Support literature reviews, coordinate references/citations, and assist with dissemination of results at conferences or meetings.
  • Follow project protocols and data-management practices to ensure reproducibility and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent advanced learning through experience).
  • Up to 1 year of relevant work experience (entry-level).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Python and familiar with machine learning workflows, large language models (LLMs), and computer vision tools.
  • Strong programming and lab teamwork skills; strong written communication for research documentation and publications.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $65,687 — $85,393 per year (Confidential Client’s good-faith estimate).
  • Compensation type: salary (range shown is for reference; final offer considers experience, skills, and internal equity).
