What You’ll Do
The Reporting Data Analyst will support the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and regulatory reporting for Non‑Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) operations. You will manage, analyze, validate, and report large datasets to detect trends, anomalies, and possible Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA), and produce accurate recurring reports for government and managed‑care partners.
- Analyze trip logs, billing records, and driver credentialing data to surface suspicious patterns and items for SIU investigation.
- Develop, generate, and maintain recurring and ad‑hoc reports required by CMS, State Medicaid programs, and managed care organization (MCO) clients.
- Perform routine data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Transform raw data into actionable insights — identify operational trends, cost drivers, and service discrepancies for compliance and operations teams.
- Partner with operations, network credentialing, and IT to resolve data discrepancies and improve data collection and reporting processes.
- Prepare clear, executive‑level summaries of findings for non‑technical stakeholders and regulators.
What We’re Looking For
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience managing large, complex datasets.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight.
- Strong analytical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to distill complex analyses into concise executive summaries.
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally with operations, IT, and compliance teams.
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have
- Previous experience in healthcare data, Medicare/Medicaid reporting, NEMT, or corporate compliance/audit functions.
- Exposure to government reporting requirements (CMS, State Medicaid).
- Prior involvement in SIU or FWA detection activities.
