What You’ll Do

You will join the engineering team supporting utility-scale solar, wind and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across the project lifecycle. Working with experienced engineers, you’ll take on real responsibility from day one.

  • Support engineering design and technical reviews for solar, wind and BESS projects at every stage
  • Prepare energy production estimates, site evaluations and technical due diligence
  • Assist with interconnection applications and coordination with utilities and PJM processes
  • Review technical submittals from EPC contractors, consultants and equipment vendors
  • Support construction and commissioning activities, including travel to project sites across the Northeast
  • Analyze operating performance data and recommend improvements
  • Contribute to engineering tools, templates and standards to scale team output

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, environmental engineering or related field
  • Demonstrated interest in renewable energy and the clean energy transition
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data and spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets, or similar)
  • Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Initiative, curiosity and a willingness to learn on the job
  • Authorization to work in the United States (employer will verify eligibility)
  • Internship, co-op or project experience in energy is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year (exact offer depends on experience)
  • Hybrid work from our Newark office with regular on-site and field work as required
