What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Remote Data Analyst to turn raw data into clear, actionable insights that influence product, marketing, and sales decisions. This is a full-time, remote role supporting cross-functional teams.
- Collect, clean, and interpret data from sales, web analytics, customer feedback, and other sources to identify trends and opportunities
- Build and maintain databases and data collection systems that improve statistical efficiency and data quality
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio) to track KPIs across sales, marketing, and product
- Analyze customer behavior and purchasing patterns to inform marketing optimizations and improve the e‑commerce user experience
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to translate analytics into clear recommendations
- Present findings and data-driven recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting
What We’re Looking For
Essential qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar analytical role
- Strong SQL experience and familiarity with reporting packages and databases
- Proficiency with statistical analysis (Excel, SPSS, SAS, or equivalent)
- Advanced data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio)
- Excellent analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
- Prior work in e-commerce or retail analytics
- Interest or background in the education sector
- Experience working effectively in distributed/remote teams
Compensation & Logistics
- Employment type: Full-Time
- Location: Remote (role is posted for Kansas City, MO). Candidate must be able to work US hours as required by the team.
- Compensation: $25.00 – $58.00 USD per hour (commensurate with experience)
