Program Overview

This is a temporary, 2-year contract position in a Regulatory Early Talent rotational program. The program is designed to build foundational knowledge and practical experience in regulatory affairs across the full product lifecycle—from clinical development through market exit. Participants will rotate through assignments, receive mentorship, and have the opportunity to specialize or rotate into another function later in the program.

  • Work onsite at the confidential client's South San Francisco office while collaborating with global drug development teams.
  • Gain hands-on experience preparing regulatory documents and supporting health authority interactions.
  • Improve scientific writing, cross-functional communication, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks.

What You’ll Do

  • Actively build foundational regulatory experience through assigned regulatory projects with mentorship.
  • Own aspects of your learning and development—seek knowledge about drug development and regulatory roles.
  • Apply business processes to support timely delivery of regulatory deliverables.
  • Engage with regulatory and cross-functional teams using open communication and active listening.
  • Contribute to team goals and understand how your work supports the broader organization.
  • Improve prioritization and time management while working primarily onsite.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

  • Degree (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate) in life sciences, biological sciences, biology, chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field completed before the program start.
  • Within two years of degree completion at the program start and no more than 1 year of relevant pharmaceutical experience post-degree.
  • Basic understanding of drug development and an entry-level understanding of regulatory roles.
  • Demonstrated learning mindset, openness to feedback, and commitment to professional growth.
  • Team-oriented: fosters partnership, collaboration, empowerment, and autonomy.

  • Relocation benefits: Not offered.
  • Estimated salary range (based on California location): $56,800 – $105,600 USD per year. Actual pay will be set based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This role includes paid holiday time off benefits.
