What You’ll Do
Under supervision, the Registered Respiratory Therapist applies specialized respiratory care knowledge to assess and recommend interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. Key responsibilities include:
- Assess patients and recommend individualized respiratory interventions.
- Administer respiratory therapies (medical gases, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, bronchial hygiene).
- Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation and titrate settings per care plans.
- Provide emergency respiratory support and advanced airway management when needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and document patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure all required credentials and training are up to date.
- Participate in quality improvement and departmental initiatives as assigned.

Who We're Looking For
Minimum and preferred qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Care from a COARC-accredited program required; Bachelor’s in Respiratory Care preferred.
- Maryland state license required for this role.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
- All credentials must be maintained in active status.
- Entry-level to experienced clinicians are welcome; the role may be staffed at different competency levels based on department needs.

Pay & Additional Details
- Pay range: $34.62/hour (minimum) — $57.19/hour (maximum). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and equity for roles of similar scope.
- New hire sign-on bonus: $10,000 (details provided during hiring process).
