What You’ll Do
Under supervision, provide specialized respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. Deliver therapies and interventions including medical gas administration, humidity and aerosol therapy, hyperinflation and bronchial hygiene, and assist with invasive and non‑invasive mechanical ventilation. Respond in emergency situations, participate in multidisciplinary care planning, and document patient status and treatment accurately. Perform assigned duties across clinical settings as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess respiratory status and recommend appropriate interventions
- Administer respiratory therapies and ventilator management (invasive and non‑invasive)
- Provide emergency respiratory care and airway management support
- Perform bronchial hygiene, aerosol, and hyperinflation therapies
- Monitor and document patient responses and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and other allied health professionals
- Maintain equipment and follow infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in continuing education and competency validation
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Care from a COARC‑accredited program (required)
- Active Maryland respiratory care license (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (required)
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship (applicants requiring sponsorship will not be considered)
- New graduates encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care from a COARC‑accredited program
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Prior clinical experience in acute care or comparable RCS division
- Demonstrated competency with mechanical ventilation and emergency response
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $34.62/hour – $57.19/hour (pay varies by experience and role)
- New hire sign‑on bonus advertised: $10,000 (as noted by the client)
