What You’ll Do

Under supervision, provide specialized respiratory care and assessment for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. You will deliver a range of therapies, support mechanical ventilation, participate in emergency response, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans.

• Administer medical gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, and bronchial-hygiene therapies
• Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation and ventilator adjustments per protocol
• Provide emergency respiratory care (code/rapid response) and airway management support
• Perform patient assessment, monitor cardiopulmonary status, and recommend interventions
• Document care accurately in the medical record and communicate changes to the care team
• Participate in education for patients, families, and clinical staff as needed
• Maintain competency through continuing education and department training

Who You Are

Minimum qualifications and credentials required to perform this role:

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Care from a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program (required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care from a COARC-accredited program (preferred)
• Active Maryland state Respiratory Care license (required for this position in Maryland)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred
• All professional credentials must be maintained in active status
• Open to new graduates as well as experienced clinicians; demonstrated clinical competency is required for advanced assignments
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $34.62 — $57.19 per hour (compensation commensurate with experience and equity)
• New Hire Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000 (as advertised)
