What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for a Registered Nurse (Urgent Care) to join an urgent care/ED-focused team in Brockton, MA. As an urgent care RN you will provide timely, evidence-based care for veterans and other patients presenting with acute but non-life‑threatening conditions, and will support clinical staff in delivering high-quality, patient-centered services.

Primary responsibilities:

• Triage patients and perform focused clinical assessments
• Administer medications and IV therapy per orders and protocol
• Provide wound care, splinting, suturing assistance and other urgent procedures
• Monitor and document patient status and clinical interventions in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, PAs and allied staff to coordinate care
• Provide patient and family teaching, discharge planning, and follow-up instructions
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and escalate care when needed
• Participate in quality improvement, infection control and safety initiatives

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

Minimum requirements (applicants must meet one of the following as applicable):

• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN registration in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program (ACEN or CCNE) OR equivalent international education with approved degree equivalency
• English language proficiency sufficient for safe, effective patient communication as required by federal regulations
• Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) exception may apply: candidates who meet education requirements but are actively pursuing licensure may be considered for a temporary appointment (per policy)

Preferred:

• At least 2 years of emergency department (ED) or urgent care (UC) nursing experience

Other requirements:

• Physically able to perform required duties; pre-placement physical exam required
• Candidates will be assigned grade/level based on scope, education, and demonstrated dimensions (Practice, Leadership, Professional Development, Evidence-Based Practice). See the agency’s qualification standard for grade-specific criteria.

• Employment type: Full time; Contractor (per source posting)
• Location: Brockton, MA (on-site)
• Compensation range: $90,747 - $192,945 per year (range provided by client)
• Note: Salary shown is the range for this posting and will be used in compliance with applicable pay-transparency rules for the location.
