Role Summary

Confidential Client is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room to join their perioperative team in New Braunfels, TX. This role combines high-quality patient care, strong teamwork, and opportunities for clinical growth. The position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

What You’ll Do

• Provide professional perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room under minimal supervision
• Participate in pre-operative assessment, intra-operative nursing, and post-anesthesia handoff following established protocols
• Maintain sterile technique, prepare instruments and supplies, and assist the surgical team
• Monitor patient status, document care, and escalate changes in condition per policy
• Support unit goals for patient safety, quality, and service excellence
• Complete required competencies during the introductory period and participate in ongoing education

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Entry-level candidates accepted
• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Completion of peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training
• REQUIRED LICENSURE: Current Texas Registered Nurse license or eligibility for state licensure
• REQUIRED COURSES: BLS (American Heart Association or Military Training Network)
• ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATIONS (preferred): CNOR, CPAN, SGNA eligibility/certification
• ACLS required for Surgery Services (obtain within 6 months of hire if not current)
• PALS required for Post-Anesthesia (obtain within 6 months of hire if applicable)

• Estimated annual pay (as listed): $42,596 per year (estimated)
