What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for outpatient mental health services in Fayetteville, NC. In this role you will deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients in an outpatient behavioral health setting, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and continuity of care.

• Conduct nursing assessments and triage for outpatient mental health clients
• Provide medication administration, monitoring, and patient education
• Implement individualized care plans and crisis intervention as needed
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up (community resources, specialty care)
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records
• Participate in team case conferences, quality improvement, and clinical documentation review
• Promote patient- and family-centered care and provide health education focused on behavioral health and wellness

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications (applicants must meet one of the following pathways and hold active licensure):

• English language proficiency required.
• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program (ACEN or CCNE accredited at time of completion) OR equivalent validated foreign nursing education with appropriate credentialing.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN registration/license in a U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
• Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) exception: candidates meeting education but not licensure requirements may be appointed temporarily while pursuing licensure per program guidelines.

Grade/level guidance (examples — final grade/level will be determined by Confidential Client based on scope and experience):

• Nurse I, Level I: ADN or nursing diploma; entry-level clinical responsibilities.
• Nurse I, Level II: ADN/diploma + 1 year specialized experience OR BSN with no experience.
• Nurse I, Level III: ADN/diploma + 2 years (one at Level II) OR BSN + 1 year at Level II OR MSN with no additional experience.
• Nurse II / Nurse III: advanced practice, leadership, and specialty experience as defined by organizational criteria (BSN/MSN/Doctoral degrees combined with required years of specialized nursing experience).

Physical and occupational health requirements per Confidential Client policies apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient mental/behavioral health settings
• BSN preferred for higher-level assignments; MSN for advanced leadership roles
• Demonstrated experience with psychiatric/behavioral health nursing assessments, care planning, and medication management
• Strong documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
