Position overview

This role supports outpatient OBGYN clinical operations as a Registered Nurse (RN). The RN assesses and evaluates patient conditions, plans and provides nursing care per professional standards, and partners with physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver high‑quality patient care in an on‑site East Denver clinic.


Key responsibilities

  • Escort patients to and from exam rooms and prepare them for the provider.
  • Take and record vital signs; obtain and document medical history and symptoms.
  • Perform telephone triage and provide patient education.
  • Handle physician and pharmacy calls; serve as liaison between patients and providers.
  • Ensure charts, lab results, and test reports are available and complete.
  • Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed.
  • Report test results to patients per provider direction.
  • Support clinic operational needs to deliver efficient patient care.

What we’re looking for (minimum qualifications)

All levels require graduation from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or equivalent) and current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure for the State of Colorado.

Level-specific outpatient OBGYN experience:

  • Entry Level: new graduate (meets accredited program requirement).
  • Intermediate: 2 years outpatient OBGYN clinic experience.
  • Senior: 4 years outpatient OBGYN clinic experience.

Additional required:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA or Red Cross).
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (no visa sponsorship provided).
  • Ability to work on‑site in East Denver and travel to alternate clinic locations as assigned.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • 1–2+ years of related clinic experience (beyond minimum).
  • Bilingual (Spanish preferred).
  • Specialty nursing certification (e.g., ANCC).
  • Experience with Epic, Kronos, and HealthStream or similar clinical/HR systems.

Knowledge, skills & abilities

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with physicians, leadership, staff, and patients.
  • Experience working in large, complex healthcare systems.
  • Competence analyzing and interpreting clinical and operational data.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations calmly and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Compensation & benefits

Estimated hiring ranges (good‑faith ranges provided by the confidential client):

  • Entry Level: $69,160 to $80,226 per year
  • Intermediate: $74,347 to $86,243 per year
  • Senior: $79,534 to $93,850 per year

This position is eligible for overtime compensation. The confidential client also provides benefits such as medical, dental, retirement contributions, paid time off, tuition benefits, and other employee programs.


Work location & schedule

  • Work location: Onsite — East Denver, CO (on‑site clinical role).
  • Schedule: Typical outpatient clinic hours; staffing and schedule will be provided by the hiring manager.
