What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) in an Internal Medicine clinic (Cherry Creek, Aurora, CO). The RN assesses and evaluates patient conditions and plans, implements, documents, and provides patient care consistent with professional nursing standards.
- Escort patients to/from exam rooms and prepare them for the physician visit
- Obtain and record vital signs and medical history; ensure charts and lab results are complete
- Perform telephone triage and respond to patient questions as a liaison between patient and physician
- Handle physician and pharmacy phone calls and provide patient education
- Administer immunizations and minor treatments per orders
- Report test results to patients as directed by the physician
- Collaborate with care team and contribute to efficient clinic operations
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
Minimum qualifications (by level)
- Entry Level: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or ANCC)
- Intermediate Level: Graduate of accredited nursing program + 2 years of nursing experience
- Senior Level: Graduate of accredited nursing program + 4 years of nursing experience
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 1–2+ years of clinic or job-related experience
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Specialty nursing certification (ANCC)
- Experience with Epic, Kronos, and HealthStream
Conditions of Employment & Required Certifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA or equivalent)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, State of Colorado
- Maintain required licensure, certifications, and continuing education
- Ability to work onsite in Aurora (Cherry Creek clinic) and travel to alternate locations as assigned
- Background check required
- May be required to comply with vaccination and medical surveillance policies of affiliated clinical facilities
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
- Able to communicate effectively with physicians, leadership, and staff across affiliate organizations
- Comfortable working in large, complex healthcare systems
- Capable of analyzing and interpreting data, compiling reports, and developing presentations
- Professional, calm, and courteous in stressful situations; able to complete tasks in a timely manner
Compensation & Benefits
Anticipated hiring ranges (good-faith estimates from Confidential Client):
- Entry Level: $69,160 to $80,226 per year
- Intermediate Level: $74,347 to $86,243 per year
- Senior Level: $79,534 to $93,850 per year
This role may be eligible for overtime depending on level. Total compensation includes generous benefits such as:
