What You’ll Do

This inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on an inpatient unit. Using best practices from third‑party recruiting and clinical staffing, the confidential client seeks RNs who will:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult and/or geriatric inpatients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care plans and interventions.
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition.
• Monitor telemetry and other physiologic data as required by the unit.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members (physicians, therapists, case managers).
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the medical record.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning support, and care transitions.
• Follow infection control, safety and Safe Patient Handling and Mobility (SPHM) practices.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and professional development activities.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements (must meet to be considered):

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (ACEN or CCNE accreditor recognized).
• Current, full, active and unrestricted RN license in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth or the District of Columbia.
• Proficiency in basic written and spoken English (per 38 U.S.C. 7403(f) for direct patient care roles).
• For candidates from foreign nursing programs: current, full, active and unrestricted registration or recognized degree equivalency (e.g., ICD) as required by the confidential client.
• Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) exception: candidates who meet education requirements but lack current licensure may be appointed temporarily while pursuing licensure (per confidential client policy).

Preferred experience and credentials:

• BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years telemetry experience preferred.
• 1–3 years total nursing experience preferred.

Grade/level guidance (used for internal placement; not required on application):

• Nurse I (Levels I–III) and Nurse II/III criteria follow the confidential client’s published qualification standard, including scope, practice, leadership and professional development dimensions.

Physical requirements (inpatient):

• This role involves routine inpatient physical tasks — bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching above shoulder height, and moderate lifting up to 35 lbs (use of mechanical lifts encouraged and required per SPHM).
• Adequate vision and hearing (hearing aids permitted) to safely perform assigned duties.

Compensation & Employment Type

• Salary range: $82,275 - $151,235 per year (posted range; final offer depends on grade/level, experience, and internal policies).
• Employment type: Contract, Full time.
• Location: Cleveland, OH — on-site inpatient role.
