Position overview
Confidential Client is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for contract, full-time roles in Flagstaff, AZ. This opportunity is open to RNs across experience levels (entry through advanced) who hold or are eligible for a current, full, active, and unrestricted nursing registration in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
Key responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centered care consistent with facility standards and evidence-based practice
- Deliver direct clinical care, including assessment, medication administration, documentation, and care coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in quality improvement, professional development, and patient education activities
- Support continuity of care and patient safety during transfers, admissions, and discharges
Qualifications
Minimum requirements (candidates should meet at least one path below):
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program (ACEN or CCNE accreditation where applicable)
- Education pathways accepted:
- Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher (where specified by level)
- Experience-based grade/level determinations follow scope, education, and dimension criteria (practice, patient-driven care, leadership, professional development, evidence-based practice/research)
- Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) exception: candidates who meet education but not yet licensure may be appointed temporarily while pursuing licensure (per policy)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently as required for patient safety
Preferred / desirable
- Specialty experience relevant to the unit or clinical program (if applicable)
- Leadership, teamwork, and strong communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
Physical & workplace requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting/carrying (45 lbs and over), pushing/pulling, reaching above shoulder, use of both hands, and walking/standing up to 8 hours
- Repeated bending and ability for rapid mental and muscular coordination
- Hearing aid permitted where required for communication and safety
Employment details & compensation
- Location: Flagstaff, AZ
- Employment type: Contract, Full time
- Compensation range (provided by client): $87,530 - $158,421 per year
- Appointments, grade/level, and step will be determined based on education, licensure, and documented experience
