Position Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Registered Nurse (Endoscopy) to provide safe, high-quality peri-procedural nursing care in an endoscopy setting in Nashville, TN. This is a full-time contract role. The position requires demonstrated clinical competence, strong communication skills, and adherence to professional licensure and regulatory standards.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide peri-procedural nursing care for endoscopy patients, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure assistance, and post-procedure recovery and discharge.
  • Monitor patient status (vital signs, sedation level) and respond to changes according to established protocols.
  • Assist physicians and endoscopy staff during procedures, including instrument handling and specimen management.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record and complete required reports.
  • Follow infection prevention and control practices and ensure proper reprocessing/handling of equipment as applicable.
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, aftercare, and follow-up instructions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a professional nurse (RN) in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN, Diploma, BSN). Accreditation examples: ACEN or CCNE.
  • English language proficiency required for written and spoken communication.
  • Experience or demonstrated competency in endoscopy or procedural nursing strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, twisting and walking as part of clinical duties.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Grade / Education Guidance (per client standard)

  • Nurse I, Level I: ADN or Diploma in Nursing.
  • Nurse I, Level II: ADN/Diploma + 1 year specialized experience equivalent to Level I OR BSN with no additional experience.
  • Nurse I, Level III: ADN/Diploma + 2 years professional nursing (one year equivalent to Level II) OR BSN + 1 year equivalent to Level II OR MSN with no additional experience.
  • Nurse II / Nurse III: BSN/MSN with required years of specialized experience or advanced degree as defined by the hiring client.

Note: Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) appointments may be available for candidates who meet education requirements but are actively pursuing licensure, per client policy.


Compensation & Employment Type

  • Salary range: $87,769 — $150,126 per year (provided by source).
  • Employment type: Full‑time, Contractor.
  • Location: Nashville, TN — on-site clinical role.
