Summary

Confidential Client is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join their Tampa, FL team. This full-time, day-shift role is ideal for nurses with acute-care experience who can deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients’ physical, mental, and emotional health
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on outcomes
• Use sound clinical judgment and make decisions under pressure
• Maintain unit-specific competencies and follow orientation/preceptorship pathways
• Document care accurately in electronic systems and use basic Windows-based applications

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

• Active Registered Nurse license for Florida (RN) — required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) — required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) — required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) — required
• APEX Innovations NIHSS — required
• 1+ experience with 12-lead EKG — required
• Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing and emergency department skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a distracting environment
• Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills
• Effective oral and written English communication
• Internship/preceptorship and unit-specific competency completion as required
• Ability to reach proficiency typically within 12 months after orientation

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $31.85 - $52.76 per hour (range provided by Confidential Client)
• Estimated annual salary example consistent with range: up to ~$103,847 (varies by hours/OT)
• Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates (per Confidential Client policy)
• Up to $10,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates
