What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a Community Living Center (long‑term care / skilled nursing) setting. The RN delivers direct patient care, supports interdisciplinary treatment plans, and helps maintain a safe, resident-centered environment.
- Conduct assessments, develop and update individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document per policy
- Monitor resident status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other team members
- Supervise and mentor licensed and unlicensed staff as assigned
- Provide resident and family education on conditions, medications, and care plans
- Participate in quality improvement, infection control, and safety initiatives
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic medical records
- Respond to emergency situations and follow facility protocols
Qualifications
Basic requirements — applicants must meet all applicable licensing and credentialing rules for practice in the United States and for the state of Oregon.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.; ability to obtain/maintain an Oregon RN license as required for this position
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (ACEN or CCNE accreditation preferred)
- English language proficiency sufficient for safe practice and documentation
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass background checks, verification of credentials, and occupational health requirements
Education & experience (examples by level — final grade/level will be determined based on credentials and experience):
- Entry / Nurse I — ADN or diploma in nursing (or equivalent); new grads may be considered where permitted
- Nurse II — BSN or ADN plus relevant experience (typically 1–2 years)
- Nurse III / advanced levels — MSN or equivalent plus specialized experience and leadership responsibilities
Preferred:
- Minimum of one year of inpatient or long‑term care nursing experience
- Experience with care of older adults, chronic disease management, and interdisciplinary team collaboration

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $83,478 - $149,960 per year (range provided by the client; actual pay depends on experience, grade/level, and qualifications)
