What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Registered Nurse (Community Living Center / CLC) to provide high-quality, veteran/patient-centered care in a long‑term care setting. The RN will deliver nursing assessments, develop and implement care plans, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, supervise direct care staff as assigned, and support evidence‑based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide skilled nursing assessments, medication administration, and clinical interventions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient condition and escalate changes to appropriate providers.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, social workers, and support staff.
- Mentor and supervise licensed and unlicensed nursing personnel when assigned.
- Document care accurately and timely in the medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement, infection control, and safety initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
To remain compliant with state licensure rules and federal standards, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a professional nurse (RN) in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia. (State licensure required prior to appointment where applicable.)
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN, Diploma, BSN) from an accrediting body such as ACEN or CCNE, or equivalent as recognized by accepted credentialing bodies.
- English language proficiency sufficient for safe, effective patient care.
- Ability to meet physical requirements and successfully complete any required pre‑employment examination or evaluation.
Grade and experience criteria (examples; actual grade placement is determined by the hiring organization):
- Nurse I, Level I — ADN or Diploma; entry-level clinical practice.
- Nurse I, Level II — ADN + 1 year specialized experience OR BSN.
- Nurse I, Level III — ADN + 2 years experience (one year at Level II) OR BSN + 1 year experience OR MSN.
- Nurse II / Nurse III — Advanced degrees and progressive specialized experience as outlined in qualification standards.
Note: Candidates enrolled in approved bridge programs and Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) exceptions may be considered under temporary appointment rules pending licensure, per applicable policies.
Compensation & Employment Type
- Contract — Full time
- Salary range (provided): $85,887 – $152,379 per year
- This range is the base pay published by the hiring client for this posting. Final compensation will depend on grade/level assignment, experience, and applicable rules.
Location & Schedule
- Location: Saint Cloud, MN (onsite — Community Living Center)
- Schedule: Full‑time; shift assignment will be determined by facility needs.
