What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Community Living Center (CLC). In this role you will provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and help improve clinical outcomes and resident quality of life.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based nursing care to residents in a Community Living Center / long-term care setting
  • Conduct assessments, develop and update care plans, and document resident status accurately
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to policy and scope of practice
  • Coordinate with physicians, therapists, social workers and support staff to deliver comprehensive care
  • Lead and participate in resident-centered care planning and quality improvement activities
  • Mentor and support less-experienced staff; contribute to unit-level education and professional development
  • Maintain compliance with licensing, accreditation, and facility policies

Minimum / Required Qualifications

To comply with state and federal hiring requirements, applicants must meet the following:

  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a professional nurse in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia (New York licensure requirements apply for appointment in Bath, NY)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (ACEN or CCNE accreditation or accepted equivalent)
  • English language proficiency sufficient for safe, effective patient care
  • Ability to perform the physical duties of nursing: prolonged walking/standing, lifting, bending, and patient handling as needed
  • Ability to pass any required background checks and pre-employment screenings per federal/state law

Notes on licensure exceptions

  • Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) exception may be considered: candidates who meet education requirements but are pursuing licensure may be appointed temporarily while actively pursuing RN licensure (per facility policy and applicable law).

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Prior experience in long-term care, geriatric nursing, or Community Living Center environments
  • BSN and/or specialty certifications (preferred, depending on grade/level)
  • Demonstrated leadership, clinical judgment, and ability to manage complex resident care

Compensation & Employment Details

  • Employment type: Full time; Contractor (per the posting)
  • Pay range (posted): $78,551 - $137,790 per year
    • This range is provided in compliance with applicable pay-transparency laws for the job location.
  • Benefits: (varies by appointment/contract) may include healthcare, retirement/retirement-eligible benefits, paid time off, and professional development opportunities — exact benefits depend on the appointment type and client policy.

Location & Work Authorization

  • Location: Bath, NY (onsite at Confidential Client facilities)
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. For positions based in New York, required state licensure or the ability to obtain New York RN licensure is required.

  • This role includes direct resident care and typical nursing duties that may require extended standing/walking, moderate lifting, bending, and working in patient-care environments.
