What You’ll Do

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinical support to providers and high-quality patient care in an outpatient community practice setting. This role is part-time (0.6 FTE) and expected to work onsite.

  • Escort patients to and from exam rooms and prepare them for provider visits.
  • Perform telephone triage, patient education, and respond to physician and pharmacy calls.
  • Take and record vital signs; document medical history/symptoms; ensure chart and lab results are available and complete.
  • Administer immunizations and minor treatments per provider orders.
  • Serve as a patient liaison—respond to patient questions and report test results as directed by the provider.
  • Support clinic operations, including documentation, follow-up, and coordination with other teams across the health system.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications (by experience level):

  • Entry Level:
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or ANCC).
  • Intermediate:
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or ANCC).
    • Two (2) years nursing experience.
  • Senior:
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or ANCC).
    • Four (4) years nursing experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • One to two (1–2) years or more of clinic or job-related experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Specialty nursing certification (ANCC) desirable.
  • Experience with Epic, Kronos, and HealthStream.

Conditions of Employment

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. No visa sponsorship available.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
  • Maintain required licensure, certifications, and continuing education.
  • Must be able to work onsite and travel to alternate clinic locations as assigned.

  • Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, leadership, staff, and patients.
  • Comfortable working in large, complex healthcare systems and cooperating with affiliate organizations.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret clinical data and compile reports.
  • Calm, courteous approach to patient care and the ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

Anticipated pay range (part-time, 0.6 FTE):

  • Entry Level: $41,496 to $48,135 per year
  • Intermediate Level: $44,608 to $51,745 per year
  • Senior Level: $47,720 to $56,310 per year
