REGISTERED NURSE

What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality nursing care in a behavioral health setting. You will work under the supervision of the Nurse Manager to assess, plan, implement, and document patient care consistent with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and agency policies.
- Conduct nursing assessments on admission and develop individualized discharge care plans.
- Administer medications safely and maintain secure medication storage per state and federal guidelines.
- Perform patient follow-ups based on chart reviews to ensure timely medical attention.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and required medical forms; ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation.
- Monitor and report on infection control/surveillance activities and contribute to a safe care environment.
- Maintain TB testing records and other regulatory health documentation for staff.
- Coordinate client medical referrals and support clients in accessing appointments.
- Assist with orientation and training of nursing staff when directed by the Nurse Manager.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination and clinical meetings.
- Respond to and document incidents and complaints according to agency procedures.
- Accept additional duties assigned by medical or executive leadership that align with the role.
- Flexible scheduling: ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate (AA) or Bachelor (BS) degree in Nursing required.
- Valid Maryland RN license required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Entry-level candidates with required licensure are encouraged to apply.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening is required.

- Competence in medication administration and staff training on clinical procedures.
- Experience or aptitude for chart review, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance.

- Estimated pay: $63,651 per year (estimated).

- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
