Position overview

The confidential client is seeking an entry-level Registered Dietitian to join their healthcare team in Blue Springs, MO. This role focuses on patient nutrition assessment, diet planning, and education to support clinical outcomes across a variety of care settings.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct nutrition assessments and obtain comprehensive nutrition histories.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on clinical needs and physician guidance.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic diets, nutrition-related disease management, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, therapists) to coordinate nutrition interventions.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress clearly and in a timely manner.
• Recognize and resolve routine clinical problems; escalate complex cases to senior clinicians as needed.

Qualifications (Required)

• Registered Dietitian credential (RD or RDN) in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (postgraduate degrees noted but not required).
• Ability to apply basic clinical nutrition theories and practices to patient care.
• Strong communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Eligible to work in the United States and able to commute to Blue Springs, MO.

• Previous clinical or acute-care experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation best practices.
• Familiarity with common therapeutic diets and outpatient/inpatient nutrition workflows.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated base salary: $52,797 per year (estimated).
