Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support center-based programs in Chester, VA. This role focuses on implementing individualized ABA-based plans, collecting behavioral data, and helping clients build communication, social, and daily living skills under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
What You’ll Do
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans focused on reducing unsafe behaviors and increasing communication/social skills
- Work directly with children, adolescents, and young adults with autism, intellectual, or developmental disabilities in a center-based setting
- Observe client skills and collect accurate, timely data to inform treatment and program goals
- Collaborate with and receive direction from a BCBA and other clinical team members
- Support positive, person-centered care that reflects organizational values
Qualifications
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential in good standing (required)
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science preferred
- Previous experience working with children; experience with Autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or ABA is a plus
- Afternoon availability (must be available until 6:00 PM)
- Ability to follow treatment plans and collect data consistently and accurately
Compensation & Schedule
- Direct-care pay: $20.00–$26.00 per hour (entry-level starts at $20; increases with experience, certification, and ABA-specific education)
- Indirect-care pay: $15.00–$18.00 per hour (based on experience and certification)
- Part-time schedule; afternoon shifts required
