Role Overview

This field-based sales role supports the adoption of diagnostic and laboratory product platforms in a regional territory. The Regional Lab Outreach Specialist will position the Confidential Client’s product portfolio to clinical and laboratory customers, drive demand, support product demonstrations, and work cross-functionally to grow account adoption.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Communicate the Confidential Client’s strategic product value and clinical benefits to laboratory and clinical customers.
  • Become proficient in molecular and diagnostic product offerings to act as a technical and commercial resource for customers.
  • Identify, develop, and close new accounts in the assigned territory, working with local sales pods and cross-functional teams.
  • Build and execute regional account sales plans and targeting strategies that involve multiple stakeholders and non-acute buyers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, prepare clinical/economic models and quotes, and support customer decision-making.
  • Participate in product launches, regional and national meetings, and other demand-generation activities.
  • Maintain timely administrative and CRM reporting, manage expenses and samples per company guidelines, and adhere to safety and lab protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1+ years of clinical or inside/outside sales experience.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of current U.S. healthcare trends and ability to integrate them into regional sales strategy.
  • Solid territory management, account assessment, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively (approximately 60–75%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Life Sciences, or experience in Non-Acute / Point-of-Care settings.
  • 3+ years of medical or diagnostic sales experience.
  • Experience selling Women’s Health, Point-of-Care, or other complex medical products is a plus.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

  • Base salary range: $83,100 - $133,000 USD annually, plus incentives. Actual pay is based on experience, education, skills, and work location.
  • This is a field/telecommute role that requires regular travel and territory presence; specific in-office expectations will be shared by the hiring manager.
