Position Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Recruiting Associate to support growth across Sales, Marketing, Technical, and University recruiting programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated early-career recruiter who wants hands-on experience owning full-cycle recruiting activities, employer branding, and talent reporting. The role is based in Mundelein, IL.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: source, screen, coordinate interviews, run reference/background checks, and support new-hire onboarding
- Source active and passive candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and direct outreach
- Create and publish recruiting content to build employer brand on social channels and the careers site
- Write and refine job descriptions and careers pages to attract qualified talent
- Partner with leaders to anticipate hiring needs and shape hiring plans for Sales, Marketing, Technical, and University programs
- Produce weekly reports and dashboards on sourcing, pipeline, and hiring metrics to inform stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance (resume should reflect GPA if available)
- 1–3 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience (agency, corporate, or university recruiting experience welcomed)
- Practical knowledge of sourcing tools and recruiting techniques, including LinkedIn and online/AI sourcing tactics
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to assess candidate fit for roles across functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for outreach, interviewing, and stakeholder updates
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with an analytical mindset and a drive for measurable results
- Comfortable troubleshooting process issues and iterating on recruiting programs
Nice to Have
- Experience with university/early talent programs or employer branding campaigns
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and basic recruiting analytics
- Content creation skills for social media or careers site copy
