Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Recruiter / Talent Sourcer to support full-cycle hiring efforts for their growing IT team in San Diego, CA. This is a full-time role focused on proactive candidate sourcing, interview coordination, career-fair representation, and improving recruiting processes. The position includes hybrid/telecommute flexibility (remote workday each Friday) and requires a Bachelor’s degree.

What You’ll Do

Responsible for hands-on sourcing and candidate engagement to build a strong pipeline for technical and non-technical roles.

• Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and outreach campaigns
• Represent Confidential Client at career fairs and campus or community recruiting events
• Track and report recruiting metrics; identify and implement improvements to sourcing workflows
• Partner with hiring managers (including head of sales) to meet monthly hiring goals
• Maintain confidential candidate and hiring data with professionalism and discretion

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree
• 1–2 years related experience is a plus (sourcing, recruiting coordination, or HR support)
• Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented and self-directed
• Proactive, coachable, and able to take initiative with minimal oversight
• Professional communication and business acumen when interacting with stakeholders
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment and managing time effectively
• Demonstrated ability to build candidate pipelines through multiple sourcing channels

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $45,000–$55,000 per year (based on experience and demonstrated sourcing/process development)
