About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry-Level Recruiter | Sales Trainee to join their talent team in Pittsburgh, PA. This entry-level role combines full-cycle recruiting with a sales-focused, performance-driven compensation plan. You will build relationships with candidates, source and screen talent, and support placements within engineering, sciences, and corporate disciplines across the client’s brand portfolio.

What You’ll Do

• Own the full recruiting lifecycle: meet with hiring managers to understand roles and requirements
• Source qualified professionals using recruiting tools and platforms
• Screen candidates through phone/video interviews and reference checks
• Communicate opportunities, prepare candidates for interviews and starts
• Coach candidates on interview technique and onboarding expectations
• Build and maintain a network of consultants/candidates aligned to industry skill sets
• Foster long-term relationships and act as a career partner for your network

Compensation & Performance Upside

• Initial base salary: $45,000 after the paid training period
• Base increases to $55,000 after one year of employment
• Unlimited commission potential and performance-based incentives
• Example historical earnings (reported by the client): top 10% of recruiters averaged $68,000 in year one, $130,000 in year two, and $195,000 in year five (2024 data)
• Quarterly bonuses and an all-expenses-paid annual trip for top performers
