Role summary

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Healthcare Recruiters to join their talent acquisition team supporting government contracts. This is a full-time, salaried role with a base salary and an incentive compensation plan tied to performance.


What You’ll Do

  • Source and attract candidates using the ATS (ADP), job boards, social media, databases, and at in-person recruiting events and hiring fairs.
  • Screen resumes, cover letters, and applications for required credentials and fit.
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews using structured and conversational techniques.
  • Assess applicants’ experience, skills, soft skills and aptitudes for healthcare, administrative, and managerial roles.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate relationships and promote the employer brand as a “best place to work.”
  • Apply HR recruiting best practices and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Support recruiting for contract bids (may recruit before contracts are finalized) and adapt to incomplete or changing project details.
  • Coordinate reference checks and other selection activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field preferred.
  • 0–2 years recruiting experience preferred; 1 year preferred but not required — entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with ADP or other applicant tracking systems is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and customer-service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize and work under deadlines.
  • Knowledge of interview and selection methods (phone screens, structured interviews, reference checks).
  • Government contracting experience highly preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a urine drug screen.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Work environment & schedule

  • Primarily day shift with occasional night or weekend availability required depending on candidate availability and business needs.
  • Fast-paced, goal-oriented environment supporting both recruiting and business development efforts.
  • Some travel may be required to meet contractual obligations; official travel is government-funded.
  • Physical expectations include prolonged sitting/standing and occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs).

Compensation & benefits

  • Base salary: $49,753.60 per year (plus an incentive compensation plan tied to profitability/revenue targets).
  • Weekly pay for W2 full-time employees.
