Role overview
Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is seeking an Entry Level Recruiter (Technical Recruiter) to join their onsite team in Reston, VA. This is an in-person, full-time role focused on sourcing, screening, and presenting candidates to clients while supporting the hiring lifecycle from outreach through offer.
Primary Responsibilities
- Select and screen qualified candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting outreach (cold calls and email), and initial screening conversations
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing job seekers in the local market
- Collaborate with sales managers to develop accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Present qualified candidates to internal sales teams and client hiring managers
- Schedule interviews and prepare interview questions and supporting hiring materials
- Support the offer process by coordinating with hiring managers and HR to recommend salary ranges, start dates, incentives, and other offer details
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Customer service experience preferred
- Competitive, proactive, and coachable mindset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with cold calling and candidate outreach
Compensation & benefits
- Projected earnings:
- Year 1: $45,000 – $55,000
- Year 2: $50,000 – $75,000
- Year 3: $70,000 – $100,000
- Estimated total-compensation example shown on posting: $120,850 (estimate)
- Base salary + uncapped earning potential and performance-based incentives

- PTO & paid holidays
- Summer half-day Fridays every other week
Schedule & location
- Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work location: In person — onsite 5 days/week in Reston, VA
- This role is not remote.
