Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry‑Level Technical Recruiter in Reston, VA. This full‑time, on‑site role is ideal for someone who is proactive, coachable, and eager to build a recruiting career focused on technical and professional placements. You will source, screen, and present qualified candidates to hiring teams while partnering closely with sales and hiring managers.

What You’ll Do

• Select qualified candidates through resume screening, targeted outreach (cold calling / email), and inbound applicant management
• Source and engage talent in the local market to build a pipeline of active and passive candidates
• Work with sales and hiring managers to create accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
• Present qualified candidates to internal teams and coordinate next steps
• Schedule interviews and prepare interview materials and question sets
• Assist during offer development—research compensation benchmarks and recommend salary, incentives, start dates, and other offer details to decision makers
• Maintain clear candidate records and recruitment tracking in the ATS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Customer service or client-facing experience preferred
• Competitive, results-oriented mindset with a coachable attitude
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation & Career Path

• Estimated midpoint (Adzuna): $63,118 per year (estimated)
• Projected earnings examples from source posting (illustrative career progression):
  • Year 1: $45,000–$55,000
  • Year 2: $50,000–$75,000
  • Year 3: $70,000–$100,000
• Base salary + uncapped earning potential and performance-based incentives
