What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level, high-volume recruiting role supporting university hiring programs. You will work under close supervision to source, screen, and manage candidates end-to-end while maintaining an excellent candidate experience.
- Source candidates proactively using phone, email, job boards, internal systems, and social media to build robust talent pipelines.
- Conduct outreach and initial candidate engagement; qualify and move candidates through stages of the hiring process.
- Schedule and conduct interviews following established guidelines and evaluation criteria.
- Check references and complete pre-employment screening steps as required.
- Prepare and extend offers; clearly communicate offer details and next steps to candidates.
- Support new-hire orientation activities and assist with onboarding tasks.
- Conduct exit interviews and accurately record feedback from departing employees.
- Process employee status changes (transfers, updates) with careful attention to accuracy and data integrity.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records in the applicant tracking system.
- Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced, seasonal hiring environment.
- Collaborate with supervisors, hiring managers, and the university recruiting team to meet hiring targets.
- Provide responsive, customer-obsessed communication to candidates and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 6 months to 2 years experience in high-volume sourcing, recruiting coordination, or related administrative roles.
- Experience supporting offer processing, employee transfers, or similar employment transactions.
- Familiarity with recruiting concepts, full-cycle recruiting support, and candidate outreach/pipeline management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional candidate and stakeholder interactions.
- High attention to detail for offer documentation, data entry, and status changes.
- Ability to follow pre-established processes and work under direct supervision.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing-priority environment and managing multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain clear documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- Experience supporting university or seasonal hiring programs is a plus.
Pay & Benefits
- Pay range: $36.00 per hour (range $36.00 - $36.00/hr)
- This position is a contract role; compensation offered within the listed range will depend on qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
