Program overview
Confidential Client is hiring candidates for a full-time Sales Development Program beginning July 2027. This 2–3 year rotational program combines an immersive headquarters training experience in Southwest Michigan with two field-based rotations that build commercial selling, territory management, and account development skills. The program is designed to accelerate early-career professionals into roles such as field sales, channel sales, sales enablement, merchandising, and product/brand marketing.
What You’ll Do
During the program you will:
- Complete an immersive, paid training period at the company’s headquarters in Southwest Michigan (first ~3 months). Housing, a cooking stipend, factory tours and other training activities are provided during this period.
- Work as a Territory Sales Representative (TSR) in your first field rotation, managing 30+ retail stores in a geographic territory and building relationships with retail partners and field leadership.
- Transition into a Market Development Representative (MDR) role for your second rotation, working with 50+ small and medium dealers to drive sales performance, balance of floor and sales, and builder pipeline growth.
- Execute in-store merchandising, promotional setups, and product demonstrations as needed.
- Track territory performance versus quota and collaborate cross-functionally to drive increases in recommendation rates, sales and market share.
- Participate in mentorship and ongoing development with exposure to company leadership.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Indefinite U.S. work authorization required. Applicants who require visa sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible.
- Willingness to travel and to relocate domestically for field rotations.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed; some physical activity required (e.g., setting up promotional material or moving appliances).

Preferred skills and experiences
- Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
- Previous internship or early-career sales experience.
- Leadership experience from clubs, organizations, athletics, or project work.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Evidence of measurable results (quantitative and qualitative) from prior projects or roles.
Compensation & benefits
- Estimated base pay (from source posting): $45,468 per year (estimated).
- Relocation support during rotations, annual bonus potential, 401(k) match, paid time off, medical and insurance plans.

Additional information
- Work schedule: in-person Monday–Friday during training and in field roles; program offers certain flexibility policies (for example, short-term remote time and sabbatical eligibility per company policy).
- This role is based in Benton Harbor, MI for initial activity and for consideration for one of the rotations; subsequent field territories will be assigned across the U.S.
