Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Radio Frequency Test Process Engineer to lead test technology and process solutions for advanced semiconductor modules. This on-site role in Chandler, AZ (shift 1) combines RF lab testing, production ATE/bench characterization, and manufacturing process optimization to support next-generation packaging and test scalability.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and lead RF test technology and process solutions for new product designs and manufacturing scalability
- Design and implement manufacturing processes and repair methodologies (including reverse-engineering where required)
- Optimize materials, metrology, equipment parameters, and production recipes to improve yield and manufacturability
- Test and characterize analog/mixed-signal circuits for power and thermal behavior; perform thermal profiling and recipe tuning
- Drive calibration for power delivery to enable power/performance binning
- Perform ATE and bench device characterization and support production test strategy development
- Partner with cross-functional teams (design, test, manufacturing, suppliers) to ensure process compatibility across operations
- Engage with equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling technologies and resolve manufacturing excursions
Minimum Qualifications
You must meet the minimum qualifications to be considered:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related STEM field with 4+ years of industry experience; OR Master’s degree with 3+ years; OR Ph.D.
- Working knowledge of RF lab equipment: mixed-signal instruments, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, and TDRs
- Relevant experience such as:
- 2+ years in ATE testing, test methodology, electronics design, or product development; OR
- 2+ years of IC test experience; OR
- Hands-on manufacturing process improvement, problem-solving, and excursion management
- Technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in digital, analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed testing (including tester hardware design)
- Experience with material handling systems (high-speed/accuracy pick-and-place, motion control, vision systems)
- Familiarity with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) collateral and workflows
- Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW for test automation and data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing process and equipment challenges

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range for US locations: $115,110 — $219,550 (range reflects minimum and maximum target compensation across US locations; actual pay depends on location, skills, experience, and education)
