Software Engineer - Radar Modeling and Simulation

What You’ll Do
This role is for a Software Engineer focused on high-performance radar modeling and simulation within digital twin environments. You will design, implement, test, and maintain software components that support radar modeling, scene simulation, signal processing, and radar control. You’ll collaborate with systems engineers, domain experts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, testable code and support continuous improvement of legacy codebases and tooling.
- Develop and maintain high-performance C++ software for radar modeling and simulation
- Implement and optimize signal-processing algorithms and radar-control interfaces
- Integrate components within digital twin and scene-simulation environments
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and regression tests; support CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Participate in design and code reviews; apply software engineering best practices to improve code quality
- Debug complex system-level issues and work with cross-functional teams to verify system behavior
- Document designs, APIs, and test procedures
What We’re Looking For
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field, plus at least 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong experience in C++ and object-oriented design; familiarity with other OO languages (Java, C#) is a plus
- Experience with signal processing, radar modeling, or simulation software
- Proven ability to write high-quality, maintainable code and unit tests
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the SECRET level
Nice to Have
- Prior work with digital twin frameworks or scene simulation toolchains
- Experience optimizing numerical algorithms for performance
- Familiarity with tooling for CI/CD, automated regression testing, and code-quality analysis
- Knowledge of embedded systems or real-time constraints

Location & Security Clearance
This position is located in Gloucester Township, NJ. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance.
