What You’ll Do
This role supports foundational systems engineering for radar modeling, simulation, and analysis. You will accelerate capability delivery by developing and validating models and simulations of platforms, sensors, weapons, and environmental interactions.
- Utilize Modeling, Simulation, Experimentation & Analysis (MSE&A) using object-oriented C++ and test-driven development.
- Develop large-scale data analytics, probability/statistics, and design-of-experiment techniques to evaluate system and mission performance.
- Integrate simulations with operational flight software; collect and analyze lab/flight test data; verify and validate simulation performance against test data.
- Produce publication-quality reports and artifacts to support formal simulation Verification, Validation & Accreditation (VVA).
- Perform operational and mission effectiveness analysis and trade studies via simulation; recommend alternative architectures.
- Develop or integrate simulation frameworks, performance models, threat and command-and-control models.
- Simulate real-time operations and build software that models system behaviors.
- Develop, integrate, and use advanced GUIs and visualization tools to present results.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum / Basic Qualifications — candidates must meet all listed items:
- Completing or completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in STEM or a related technical field.
- Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Bash or C shell scripting on Linux and Windows.
- Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) and complex-valued signal data.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a final U.S. Government Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) access prior to start (this position is contingent upon clearance/SAP award or transfer).
Preferred Qualifications
Strong candidates may also have:
- Current/active U.S. Government Secret clearance or higher.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- Proven C++ development experience and MATLAB analytical modeling experience.
- Domain experience with RF, EO/IR, communications or related simulation systems.
- Experience with real-time/reactive simulation software and MSE&A best practices.
- Familiarity with statistics, design of experiments, predictive analytics, and high-performance computing.
- Experience developing and validating radar modes, adaptive signal processing, and optimal estimation theory.
- Exposure to DPC, CUDA, OpenCL, Verilog, VHDL, or other domain-specific languages.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or SAFe methodologies.
Compensation & Benefits
- Primary salary range: $72,700.00 - $109,100.00 per year (base salary). Actual offer depends on experience, education, skills, and market factors.

- Eligible employees may also receive overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and, where applicable, long-term incentives.
Work Location & Clearance
- Work location: On-site in Linthicum Heights, MD.
- This role is contingent on contract award and successful granting/transfer of required U.S. Government clearances (Secret and SAP).
- U.S. Citizenship is required for positions requiring government clearance.
