What You’ll Do
The Quality Technician (3rd Shift) supports food safety and product quality programs at a dairy manufacturing facility by performing routine laboratory testing, product evaluations, and environmental sampling. Responsibilities include:
- Collect and test in-process and finished product samples.
- Perform routine laboratory testing (pH, wet chemistry) and basic microbiological assays.
- Conduct environmental and air sampling to support food safety programs.
- Document test results and maintain accurate, auditable records.
- Participate in product taste testing and sensory evaluations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized laboratory and follow GMPs and food safety procedures.
- Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to support product quality and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Dairy Science, Animal Science, or a related field preferred.
- Laboratory experience via coursework, internships, research, manufacturing, or quality roles is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and a desire to learn.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and participating in dairy product evaluations.
- Ability to work the 3rd shift reliably.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance/control, or laboratory settings.
- Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, microbiology techniques, wet chemistry, or routine sample collection.

Work Environment & Schedule
- This is a 3rd shift, fully onsite role in a dairy manufacturing facility. Most work is in the laboratory with occasional time in production areas to collect samples.

Pay & Benefits
- Pay: $23.00 per hour.
