Role Overview
Confidential client is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Specialist to join their QA team. This entry-level to early-career role supports quality systems, investigates out-of-specification events, helps maintain controlled documentation, and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet regulatory and company standards.

- Location: Salt Lake City, UT — hybrid (regular weekly in-office time required)
What You’ll Do
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems aligned with cGMP, FDA, and international regulations
- Write, edit, review, and implement controlled documents and maintain accurate GMP records and historical files
- Prepare trend reports and present findings to stakeholders
- Participate in internal quality audits — assist with preparation, execution support, responses, and follow-up
- Support the stability program with documentation, data review, and trending activities
- Assist in supplier/raw material risk assessments and other risk management processes
- Investigate product and process quality issues, support customer complaint investigations, and help resolve deviations/non-conformances
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and company policies; keep current with applicable QA codes and standards
- Perform other duties as assigned to support quality and operational goals
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field
- 1–2 years’ experience in quality assurance, document control, or compliance within dietary supplements, pharmaceutical, or personal care industries preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and recordkeeping ability
- Ability to manage multiple documentation tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management software
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Team-player attitude and eagerness to learn
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with QMS documentation or electronic quality management systems (eQMS)
- Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR 111/211, cGMP, and ISO standards
- Prior exposure to stability programs, audits, or complaint investigations
Location & Schedule
This is a hybrid role requiring regular, scheduled in-office attendance in Salt Lake City, UT, combined with some remote work. Candidates must be able to commute to the Salt Lake City facility as required.
